Police are investigating after the burnt body of a 37 year-old, local man was found at Lake Lane, Liskeard.
The man, who has been identified, was found on the afternoon of Friday March 21, however at present his name is not to be released as family members are still being contacted.
A member of the public made the grisily discovery around 3pm, with police attending and cordoning off the area.
The man's death is being treated as unexplained, however, initial enquiries reveal that there appears no third party involvement.
Detectives are continuing their enquiries surrounding the circumstances of the man's death in conjunction with HM coroner.
A post mortem was conducted on Saturday March 22.
