The monthly meeting of thegGroup met on Monday, March17 at Culdrose Community Centre, Helston.
The meeting began with an illustrated talk given by Alan Barnes, the ex-Coxwain of Falmouth Lifeboat. Alan, a member of the crew of the Falmouth Lifeboat for 28 years, was very well received by members. His talk and anecdotes were very much enjoyed.
Following Alan’s talk, members discussed forthcoming events of the group, which include welcoming speakers from Search & Rescue; National Coastwatch Institution and of course, the outing to Roskilly’s!
