On the third Sunday of lent the Rev Beverly Turner conducted the morning service with the pianist being Shirley Mildren.
A warm welcome was given to Beverly by Kevin who read the notices. Beverly's theme throughout the service was 'Hope' and she told the story of Naomi and Ruth on their journey to Bethlehem.
Gillian welcomed the congregation at the door and Maureen Jenkin provided the lovely spring flowers. Holy communion was administered at the close of the service. On Saturday our spring bazaar takes place at 3pm to be opened by Dr Ian Wort. Various stalls and cream teas, a warm welcome to everyone, all proceeds for chapel funds.
