Boardmasters has announced yet more additions to its festival bill, with American hardcore punk heros Dead Kennedys taking to the stage.
Zane Lowe, Wilkinson, The Enemy, Dead Kennedys, Oneman, Elli Ingram, Scott Matthews, The Ramona Flowers, Goldirocks, A Plastic Rose, Isaiah Dreads, Amber Run, Bat & Ball, Magnus Puto, Ghouls and Antimatador will join the summer celebration of surf from Wednesday, August 6 to Sunday, August 10.
Thes artists will be performing across the weekend at the festival’s Watergate Bay site and will be joining headliners, BRIT award winners Bastille, chart topping Chase & Status and hip-hop megastar Snoop Dogg.
Other artists already confirmed to perform include Ben Pearce,Dan Croll, Palma Violets, Bipolar Sunshine, George Ezra, Reel Big Fish, The Cribs, 2manydjs DJ set, Duke Dumont, Roni Size, Peace, Boy & Bear, The Cuban Brothers, Raleigh Ritchie, Coves, Kidnap Kid, My Nu Leng, TCTS, Billon, Big Deal, Yuck, Current Swell, Decade, Southern,Lyger, Emily & The Woods, DJ EZ, Roska, Toyboy & Robin, Monki, The Golden Boy, Eton Messy Presents: Friend Within, Blonde, Isaac Tichauer, Bodhi and Eton Messy DJ Set.
Boardmasters opens on Wednesday, August 6 at Fistral Beach, which will host the festival’s surf, BMX and skate competitions in addition to the ‘Beach Sessions’ gigs.
The festival has grown year on year with 2013 seeing over 150,000 visitors.
Fistral will host the international surf competition with ategories including Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Longboard, Pro Junior, Under 16’s and the Air Show.
