New 38,000 play park to officially open in Helston tomorrow
A £38,000 play park will be officially opened in Helston this Saturday at noon.
Work installing the new equipment at the Carey Parc Play Area was completed last week.
The project has been led by Helston Town Council’s play and young people committee.
As well as new equipment and safety surfacing, the existing paved area will be washed down and re-pointed in time for Saturday’s event. The council will also be installing two picnic tables, a waste bin and notice board.
