Burglars have struck in Mawnan Smith, stealing machinery, tools and fuel.

Police are appealing for help in tracing the thieves that targeted outhouses in the vaillage.

Sergeant Martin Roberts said: “I would ask your readers to be very vigilant in regard to their property and report any suspicious behaviour.

"The offenders would have needed vehicles to transport the items concerned and therefore details of vehicles seen in suspicious circumstances should be recorded and passed to the police.”
