The Glasney valley in Penryn got a spring clean when a group of turned out for a community litter pick.
Organised by EcoSoc Penryn, the ecological society at Penryn campus, the clean up was well attended by parents and children from the local community, who collected seven or eight bags of rubbish along with larger items of junk.
Jack Bedford, who organised the event with support and equipment from Clean Cornwall, said: “It was brilliant working alongside some wonderful Penryn locals to clean up the beautiful Glasney valley. It was particularly great to see the kids getting stuck in and working as hard as any of the adults to make the green space a more enjoyable place.”
