Charges against BBC Radio Cornwall DJ Freddy Zapp have been dropped, with the entertainer due to return to the airwaves on Saturday April 12
Mr Zapp, 62, of Dopps Terrace, Redruth, had faced allegations of assault by beating a female and a charge of sexual assault against a female over the age of 16.
He has previously pleaded not guilty to both charges.
The Crown Prosecution Service has now dropped the case against him .
