Truro Festival will be bringing the city to life from this Friday, April 4, to Easter Sunday, April 20.
This year the festival is billed as bigger and better than ever, with Truro "bustling with a menagerie of exciting events".
In 2013, Totally Truro - the city's Business Improvement District and Truro Festival organisers - amalgamated Art in the City and Truro Music Festival to bring to Cornwall's capital one of the biggest arts and culture events in the county.
Visitors to Truro Festival 2014 will be treated to live dance and music performances, literary trails, live storytelling and workshops, culminating in an outdoor music event on Lemon Quay.
Six pop up festival huts will be appearing and moving around, taking the festival feel to all corners of the city.
Weird and wonderful mini events will be taking place in these huts including; exhibitions, museum workshops, recipe swaps, haircutting, storytelling, theatre, street art, live music, face painting, Punch and Judy, charity challenges and much much more.
