SCHOOL: The community association are planning to have a mobile skate park at the school on Tuesday, April 15 from 10am to 4pm, weather permitting – all equipment will be provided.
BROWNIES, GUIDES AND RAINBOWS: Units from Breage, Sithney and Porthleven are all working on activities to celebrate 100 years of Brownies. Brownies from the units are also planning a weekend away at an outdoor adventure centre in North Devon at the beginning of May. Spaces are currently available in most of the units and any adult helpers would be very welcome. If you are interested please contact Allison Hallett on 01736 761337.
METHODISTS: For the fourth week of Lent the Whip was laid at the Lenten Cross with the appropriate reading given by Mavis Harper. The review and renew service which followed was conducted by the Rev Beverly Turner and circuit steward, John Bilkey, came along from Helston to take part. On Sunday members will be welcoming Brian Teague from Helston.
