VILLAGE HALL: The Friends of Godolphin are holding their next meeting on Tuesday, April 8 at 7pm. the speaker this evening will be Marilyn Dunn, one of the National Trust’s conservators.
Marilyn will give an illustrated talk on her work and afterwards will be pleased to talk about ways to clean and conserve any items that the audience may bring along. Everyone is invited to come along and bring an artefact. The Friends will be providing refreshments and there will be a raffle and refreshments will be available.
Admission price on the door is: members £3and visitors £4. The recent evening of Cornish music raised £177 for the funds of this group who support the work of the National Trust at Godolphin House.
LUNCH: The next lunch is on Saturday, April 12. Food is available from noon and it is still the winter menu which is great value at £3.50 for a main course with £1.50 for a desert. All welcome.
