The Mothers Day morning service was led by the Rev Danny Reed. He showed some amusing slides of mothers, and compared a mother’s love for her child as to God’s love for us.
Nigel Dower played the organ. In the evening, the praise and worship service was taken by Deacon Geoff Tamblin.
On Wednesday mornings, breakfasts are served to the homeless, and to raise funds a coffee morning and bring-and-buy sale was held in the Wesley Hall this week. It was very well attended, and the magnificent sum of £1081.00 was made.
