FRYER were on fire in the Taylor's Tyre Service Carn Brea five-a-side league's Tuesday league, scoring 24 goals in their two games on the second evening of return games.
They won their first encounter against Grids FC 11-0 and then recorded a 13-1 victory in the return. Dicko's Rockets did the double over The Blues winning 7-1 and 4-2 in the return and Star Inn Vogue also picked up six points with wins of 8-2 and 6-1 against Boots of Hayle.High flying MJ Maintenance and Carn Entral United ended with honours even in both games, 1 - 1 and 0-0.
Group 4 of the cup took place on Thursday and late stand-ins Falmouth All Stars lost 9-0 and 11-0 against MJ Maintenance. Against Bike Chain they fared better going down 5-0 and 7-0.
The line up for the knockout stage and final, which is on Sunday, is Redruth United, MJ Maintenance, Star Inn Vogue, Bike Chain, Penmarth, Capio Cornwall, Fryer, Football News.
