A talented teenager from Porthleven is starring in a production of Jack and the Beanstalk being staged by the Redruth Amateur Musical and Pantomime Society later this month.
Accomplished musician and dancer Claire-Louise Auguste, 15, is making her debut principal performance in the pantomime, which opens at the Regal Theatre in Redruth on Wednesday, January 17.
Claire-Louise, who plays Jack, is familiar with the Regal stage as a senior performer with the Bev-Lyn School of Dancing.
She will be putting her many and varied talents to good use in the panto, which is being billed as a traditional production with "something for everyone", performed by an experienced cast, with a colourful set and dazzling costumes.
Directed by John Brolly, with musical direction by Barbara Bray and choreography by Melissa Glover, the show is at the Regal from January 17 to 21.
Tickets are available from Wool and Crafts in Redruth's Fore Street on 01209 211817.
