An "a-moo-sing" addition to the cast of a Helston pantomime is busy learning her lines ahead of the performances later this month.
Daisy the Cow, a key character in the Meneage Arts Players' production of Jack and the Beanstalk, has begun rehearsing with the cast and is looking to be a sure-fire hit with the audience.
Paul Blaber, from the Players, said: "Daisy is busy learning her lines and dance routine and you are guaranteed a very a-moo-sing' performance. However, the udder' members of the cast are a little worried about being upstaged!"
Daisy has a major role in the production, as it is she who is exchanged for the magic beans that grow into a gigantic beanstalk at the top of which lives the wicked giant.
Meneage Arts players have been presenting pantomimes in Helston for over 30 years and this year's is set to continue the same high standard.
Mr Blaber added: "With a large and highly talented cast, a four-piece band and spectacular special effects the production is a perfect New Year treat for all the family - bring along your mum and bring along you children!"
Jack and the Beanstalk is being staged at the Epworth Hall in Coinagehall Street from January 24 to 27 at 7.30pm, with a matinee on January 27 at 2.30pm.
Tickets can be purchased in person at Heathercraft Fabrics in Coinagehall Street or by calling 01326 561636
