KIND hearted students from Truro College have taken part in a sponsored walk to raise money for research into infant cot death.
The students, from the national diploma in health studies walked 5km from the Packet Station pub on The Moor, Falmouth, around the coast and past Pendennis Point, through the town and finished back at the pub.
Tony Patnick, teacher at the college, said: "We are raising money for the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths. The students will be listening to a talk from a representative of the charity and we thought it would be nice to present with a cheque on their arrival."
The foundation is the UK's leading baby charity working to prevent sudden deaths and promote health. It funds research, supports bereaved families and promotes safe baby care advice.
Mr Patnick said they hoped to raise several hundred pounds for the cause through sponsorship and collections during the walk.
