A group of members recently travelled to St Agnes to take part in the Summer Festival of the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies branches.
The morning meeting included speeches from the Federation President Duncan Matthews and the Grand Bard Maureen Fuller, and musical entertainment from the Aggie Boys, followed by Cornish songs and an organ recital from the organist of the Parish Church.
Later, after a pasty lunch, members were taken on various guided tours of places of interest in or near St Agnes.
St Agnes Old Cornwall Society are to be congratulated on arranging such an enjoyable day particularly for fixing the magnificent weather.
