The morning service on Sunday was led by Jean Whetham. There were Bible readings by Janet Gluyas and Anton Barkhuysen and the organist was Colin Anthony.
In the evening officers of Stithians Agricultural Association and members of St Stythians Parish Church joined the Methodist congregation for a Songs of Praise. Led by the Rev Celia Phillips, superintendent of the Falmouth and Gwennap Circuit, the hymns were selected by officers of Stithians Agricultural Association. There were scripture readings by Steve Kimberly, president of Stithians Show, and the Rev Canon Mike Warner, president elect. The organist was Colin Anthony.
An offertory raised £114 to support three Scouts from Stithians who are to attend a World Jamboree in Japan.
