THE head librarian at Windsor Castle is to give an illustrated talk entitled Treasures From The Royal Collection in February.
The event takes place as the Victoria County History of Cornwall annual lecture, in the Botallack Conference Room, formerly Camborne School of Mines, between Redruth and Camborne.
Oliver Everett, whose full title is librarian emeritus of the Royal Library, will share his deep and detailed knowledge of the collection, and of the history of the castle and its occupants.
Seating in the conference room is limited to 150, and so booking, by sending a stamped addressed envelope to The Administrator, Lansdowne, Pendower Road, Veryan, Truro TR2 5QL is advised. The tickets cost £9.50 and the talk starts at 7.30pm.
