A man was treated for the effects of breathing in smoke last night after his house caught fire in Mawnan Smith.
Two crews from Falmouth fire station were called to the house at 9.21pm yesterday. On arriving they found that the fire was out, but the male occupant was suffering from breathing in too much smoke.
He was given oxygen by crew members, while the house was ventilated and the smoke cleared using a high-pressure fan.
