A 58-year-old motorcycle rider who died in a crash on the A39 has been named as Terence (Terry) Lawson from West Tolgus, Redruth.
He was originally from Essex and moved to Cornwall 12 years ago.
He was riding a red Ducati motorcycle.
There were two other vehicles involved - a blue Fiat Multipla registered to Brixham and a black Kawasaki ZX registered to Truro.
The second motorcyclist suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The collision happened near Knightsbridge Garage.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw the vehicles travelling on the A39 shortly before, is asked to contact Sergeant Ken George at the Bodmin Serious Collisions Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference 346 of 5 October.
