A man charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm after an 'acid' attack that left a Truro man fighting for life, has appeared in court.
David Phillips, 48, of Barley Lane, Hastings, entered no plea at Truro Magistrates’ Court to a charge of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm to Andreas Christopheros at Truro on December 9.
Local businessman Andreas Christopheros remains in a critical condition in a specialist burns unit.
There was no application for bail and Phillips was remanded in custody to appear at Truro Crown Court by video link on January 6.
