ALUN Dixon and Nigel Waters won the Daily Mail foursomes qualifier on Sunday morning with 60.5 net, writes Simonn Edwards.
Joe Hill and Jess Willard took second with 61, Colin Cratchley and Roy Hillyar third with 65.5 and Chris Dunn and Richard Dunn fourth with 66, winning on the last nine from Ray Pearce and David Phillips.
Lou Archer won the Ladies' Stableford on Saturday afternoon with 32 points. Anna Harry was second with 30 and Elizabeth Murrish third with 26, winning on the last nine from Jennifer Chambers.
Also on Saturday the Mail on Sunday team (Mike Hatch, Mike Jacka, John Murrish, Steve Strick and Nigel Waters) lost in their away match 3-2 versus Porthpean.

Diana Kelynack scored 16 points to win the Ladies' nine-hole Stableford on Wednesday morning. Lou Archer was second with 14 points on countback from Ann Seabrook and Elizabeth Murrish respectively. Barbara Wilkins won the putting competition.
The quiz nights continue on Friday at 8 p.m. The ladies play a Stableford on Saturday afternoon and the Barry Mounter semi-final takes place on Sunday morning. There is also a competition for men not in the semi-final.
Next week there is a weekly Stableford, the ladies play a nine-hole Stableford on Wednesday morning and the Ogres meet in the afternoon.
