UNDER new ownership since July 2004, Falmouth Golf course has been made a little fairer for the average golfer while still a good test.
There are stunning sea and coastal views, excellent greens, a well-drained course and a friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse where freshly cooked food and a reasonably priced full bar are available. Visitors are most welcome and special rates are available for societies. Handicap requirements: None, but dress code applies.
Falmouth Golf Club offers a fully- stocked golf shop and has a resident PGA golf professional on hand to offer tuition for all levels of golfers including beginners.
He also provides clinics with video facilities, hire of golf equipment and all services connected with golf clubs, including manufacture of custom clubs designed specifically to suit the individual. There is also an all weather driving range that overlooks Falmouth Bay, a truly exhilarating place to practice. So treat yourself to a membership or lessons.
