The motorcyclist who was killed last Wednesday morning (February 7)after his machine collided with a lorry on the A39 between Treluswell Roundabout near Penryn and The Norway Inn has been named as 43-year-old Mark Charlesworth from Truro.
The collision involved a Honda 800 CC motorbike and an Iveco Box Lorry which were travelling in opposite directions.
The car featured in a police appeal - a red Astra - has now been traced but police are still trying to locate the driver of a white van which was travelling towards Treluswell just before the collision.
The accident happened at around 7.30am on Wednesday just before rush hour. Motorists were being asked to avoid the area as the road was closed for some time.
