A motorcyclist killed last week when his powerful machine collided with a lorry has been named as Mark Charlesworth, from Truro.
The accident happened on the A39 between Treluswell roundabout, near Penryn, and the Norway Inn last Wednesday. Weather conditions were treacherous.
The collision involved Mr Charlesworth's Honda 800 cc motorbike and an Iveco box lorry, which were travelling in opposite directions. Police are anxious to locate the driver of a white van which was travelling towards Treluswell just before the collision.
The accident happened at around 7.30am on Wednesday. Motorists were asked to avoid the area as the road was closed for some time.

Mr Charlesworth, 43, leaves a wife, Yvonne, and two children, Kayleigh and Sharron. A service of thanksgiving for his life will be held at Penmount on Friday.
