Leading at half-time by 24 points to seven the home side were on course for another victory.

The students did find better form but they were outclassed by Liskeard-Looe whose fly-half Andy Shear had a try hat trick.

The students are now in for a difficult second half of the season.

Conditions were chilling at Tregeseal Valley, in a battle of the Saints, in this friendly fixture.

For a time the result, was in doubt, but the visiting Tigers scored six tries, to the hosts three to run out worthy winners.
