A 17-year-old boy is to appear in court charged with stealing computer equipment from a Falmouth primary school.
DC John Dukes, from Falmouth police station, told the Packet that as a result of "ongoing police investigations" the teenager had been charged with the offence of burglary to St Francis Primary School.
As reported in the Falmouth Packet on January 31, laptops containing a year's worth of pupils' and teachers' work were taken from the school at the end of last month.
The teenager has been charged with the burglary, as well as a number of similar offences in and around the Falmouth area. He is currently on bail, awaiting his court appearance.
DC Dukes added that the computer equipment taken from the school, as well as a number of items from other premises, were still missing.
Anyone with information about where the equipment may be is asked to contact DC Dukes at Falmouth CID on 08452 777444, quoting the Packet's front page headline, "Year's work stolen."
