The Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre, Falmouth, situated at Pendennis head, marks its 25th Anniversary this year and to celebrate a dinner is being held at the Falmouth Beach Hotel on April 13. Now the search is on for those who have worked there over the past quarter of a century.
"These may be the full time coastguards or those who worked as part of the volunteer operations room assistants who were at the station until 1997.
"It will be a great chance to meet old friends and coleagues and celebrate 25 years of the World's 'premier' Coastguard station," said one of the organisers.
Those attending the function, are also invited to visit the MRCC during the day.
