WITH leaders Clinton SC A having a bye last week, there was little change at the top of the Mining Division Snooker League's division one table, but third-placed Redruth RBL gained two points on Bell's Court in second place.

While Bell's were held to a 3-3 draw by Clinton SC B, Redruth RBL beat Playing Place 5-1 to lie four points behind them with a match in hand. Bell's Court led Clinton B 3-0, but were pegged back to 3-3 by Wayne Mills, Jeff Goldsworthy and Justin Old.

Phil Davey (39 break) was Playing Place's only winner at Redruth RBL, whose Alan Hurley made breaks of 33 and 31 in his winning frame.
