CARN Brea parish council is looking to award people for their outstanding achievements in serving the parish.
The Clarence Coombe Memorial Award is in memory of a late, well respected councillor who served the parish for many years.
The award will presented to a nominee, who lives in the parish and who has given life long service, performed a heroic deed, or attained individual achievement through work, study or conquest of illness or handicap.
The parish council are now welcoming nominations, which should be made to the clerk and marked Clarence Coombe Award and stating the reasons for nomination by March 31.
All nominations should be sent to Sue Parker, Treloweth Community Hall, Moorfield Road, Pool, Redruth, TR15 3QB.
