Cars parked in the streets of Falmouth could be causing untold problems soon.
Cornwall county council is to carrying out gully emptying and drain clearance in Falmouth until the end of March.
Residential streets pose a particular problem as parked cars often mean that gullies are inaccessible and the gully emptier has insufficient space to manoeuvre, says officials.
CORMAC will be putting out signs on site the day before particular streets are due to be visited hoping people will not obstruct the work by leaving cars parked there.
"The council would like to ask residents and visitors parking in Falmouth for their co-operation and request that drivers do not to park on these streets until the work has been completed," said a spokesperson.
