THE Victoria Van Men inflicted White Hart "A" with their second loss in the space of three weeks in the Jolly's Camborne-Redruth Premier Pool League as Mark Buckingham defeated Mark Moyle in a final frame decider to edge the match 8-7. The result leaves White Hart "A" outside the top two places in the league for the first time since the opening week.

Taking their place in second spot are the Waggoners Arms, fresh from their win over league leaders Red Jackets Eagles, they followed it up with a 12-3 home win over the Spice of Life. The Eagles now have a healthy lead at the top and looking odds on to become the inaugural winners of the league.

Elsewhere there were wins for Tuckingmill Tigers and Tricky Dickies as both teams claimed 8-7 wins over Trevenson SC and Camborne Cricket Club respectively. The Tigers result was all the more remarkable as they trailed 3-6 after two sessions. Although defeated, Trevenson's Robert "Hobbo" Hosking won all three of his frames.
