AN exhibition of new paintings at art gallery at The Poly in Falmouth will feature the works of Alan Boyd and Margaret Crook.

The display starts on Monday, March 12, and runs until March 17.

Though both born up-country, both artists studied at the Falmouth College of Arts, and have remained attached to the area. Alan has a studio at Playing Place, near Truro, and Margaret has a home at St Just in Roseland.

The exhibition is called Confluence. The artists are similar in that they both use mixed media, and paint abstract forms of the meeting of sea and land. Alan also uses lens based media, and makes projected video imagery shows around the world.
