Members of a classic car club will be hoping to steer their way to raising funds for the South West's hospices for children with life limiting illnesses at a special event on April 15.
Members of the Crash Box and Classic Car Club of Devon will reveal their vintage vechiles to the public at the Tregenna Castle Hotel in St Ives on April 15 to raise funds for Children's Hospice South West (CHSW).
Dozens of vehicles dating from the 1930's to the 1970's will be on display on the hotel lawns joined by local classic cars and other clubs for the fundraising event.
There will also be refreshments and a skittles game, with all funds going to CHSW, which runs Little Bridge House near Barnstaple in Devon. The charity will open another hospice at Wraxall, near Bristol, later this month to double the provision in the South West for children with life limiting illnesses and their families.
Linda Ryder from the Crash Box and Classic Car Club said: "This will be our 11th Spring trip to Tregenna Castle Hotel. Every year the cars go on display on Sunday to raise money for a local charity.
"We hope as many people as possible will come along and see the cars and give generously to CHSW to support the work it does in the South West."
Cars will be on display from 9am to 1pm. Admission is free but donations to CHSW will be appreciated.
