The February plaque was won by Mr Steve Williams with a superb mullet (thick lipped) of 05.07.14lb, congratulations goes to Steve. Although there were only three fish weighed on the day, these were all quality fish coming in at over 100 per cent one day weight.
Notable fish for the month include: Steve Williams, thick lipped mullet of 05.07.14lb; Eddie Taylor, mackerel of 01.10.07lb; Sue Rule, ballan wrass of 05.02.15lb; Jason Hawkes, LSD of 02.06.03lb; Alan Rule, 3 B rockling of 01.13.15lb.
As predicted last month, there were some early summer species caught, thanks to global warming, and it is thought that the mackerel are now in at Porthkerris (if they really went away!)
