FIREFIGHTERS and ambulance crews had to release a casualty trapped in a car following a head-on collision involving two vehicles on the Threemilestone roundabout on Saturday.
One appliance from Truro and a rescue tender from Camborne were called to the collision, which happened at around 6.43pm, as well as four ambulances, a duty officer, doctor and mobile response unit at the scene.
The trapped casualty was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital and the three "walking wounded" at the scene were also treated.
