THE morning's golf at Culdrose Golf Club started with a thick fog making it difficult for the long hitters, however, once again some good scores came in.
The game of the day was Individual Stableford. In first place with a great score of 43 points was Clive Jefferys, in second place on count back with 37 points was Stuart Holt, and in third place also with 37 points was Derrick Oates.
This is an 18-hole 5,484-yard par 70 course, but don't be fooled into thinking that this is just an airfield with no out of bounds, as you would be very much mistaken. There are some tight holes with plenty of out of bounds, some holes requiring some pretty straight t-shots. An invitation is extended to anyone who wishes to join the club, navy or civilian.
