THE weather was great with a good turn-out and some good scores at Culdrose Golf Club. The game of the day was a Texas Scramble.
In first place, with a well-earned 57.1, was Carl Morris, Royston Dower, Neil Richards and Morley Carhart.
In second place with a close 57.6 was father and son Tony and Nathan Roberts and Vivian Taskas. Coming in third place was Mark Kimpton, Jimmy Ore and John Holt.
This 18-hole, 5484 yard, par 70 course has, with much effort by the green keeper, Morley Carhart together with new machinery, improved. The club welcomes new members, Navy or civilian.

Members meet every Sunday between 8am and 8.30am and every Friday between 3.30pm and 4pm.
