Hayle in Bloom organisers are urging everyone to keep their spring blooms tended and streets tidy for the unannounced visit by RHS Britain in Bloom judges to over the next few weeks.

Some time between now and May 13 all the finalists in RHS Britain in Bloom will be visited for the first stage of the campaign.

Jim Buttress, Chairman of RHS Britain in Bloom Judges says: "The spring judging is one way we ensure that the campaign is a year round project, not just a summer activity. The judges come unannounced so that they can evaluate how the community and local authorities maintain their entry and in particular will be looking for spring blooms, sustainable planting and cleanliness."

The second stage of the campaign will be the summer judging tour in August, where the judges will be taken on an official tour by local Bloom representatives.

Winners will be announced at the RHS Britain in Bloom Awards Presentation on 26th September 2007, hosted by Coventry in Bloom.
