Two people had to be cut free from their car and airlifted to hospital following a three-vehicle pile up on narrow lanes near Helston.
A red Rover travelling towards Helston collided with a green Vauxhall Cavalier and a silver Hyundai Coupe that were travelling towards Redruth. They collided on the road between Wendron and Four Lanes, the B3297, at around 11am on Saturday.
A man and a woman riding in Rover became trapped and had to be cut free by members of the Cornwall fire and rescue service. They were then given roadside treatment by paramedics, before an air ambulance flew them to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro. However, their injuries are not thought to be life threatening or "life changing."
