An urgent "special meeting" has been called by the county council executive committee to discuss the funding of Newquay Airport.
The meeting has been called "urgently" and will take place on May 2 at 10.30am. It is expected to be held behind closed doors and is being called: "Newquay Cornwall Airport - Funding Update."
The airport is now owned and run by Cornwall county council but is know to be a huge drain on the county budget.
It is expected a formal agenda will be issued in the next few days.
