TWELVE miles of near perfect course conditions greeted 130 riders to Hustyn Woods near Wadebridge on Sunday, for Camel Vale's Hustyn Enduro.
This multi lap event with a timed special test to be ridden three times, and strict time scedules to be followed, caused few problems for most of the entry. Only 12 seconds separated the top four championship runners with Tim Lewis beating Steve Dustow, Jason Fraser and Nick Life.
In the Expert class young Max Hembroke took the win from Martyn Cheeseman, Shaun Daymen and Shaun Martin.
Clubman four stroke over 250cc win went to Mark Brewer from Richie Nancarrow and Tim Edwards.
Clubman four stroke up to 250cc went to Michael Brooks from Steve Whitman, Ross Hugo and ex road racer Alan Bennallick.
Charles Richards won the Clubman two-stroke up to 225cc from Chris Doidge and Jason Davis.
Clubman open class as won by young Alex Bland, now more at home with this type of speed event rather than the slower trials type event. Second was Chris Life from David Bailey.
The Sportsman class went to Dave Ford from Trevor Child and Jed Treleaven.
