The Easter sunshine delighted daffodil lovers at the "South West daffodil group annual show" held at the National Trust garden Trelissick.
Miles of woodland walks and stunning views of the Carrick Roads and the River Fal surround Trelissick Garden, near Truro, which hosted the event over the first weekend of April.
Amateur enthusiasts ran the show and included 13 different classes of daffodils, which over 3,000 visitors turned up to view.
Although the organisers were worried of the late timing of the show with the early season there were no troubles over the weekend, with the likes of Reg Sleeman winning two awards and Paul Millets displaying historical daffodils dating back to 50 or 60 year old.
Barry Champion, the head gardener at Trelissick said: "Everyone connected with Trelissick was delighted with the response of the public and extremely pleased with the turn out. I was the first one to arrive in the morning and the scent of all the flowers just knocked me for six."
