A planning application for new homes to be built on a 1.1-acre greenfield site off Pennance Parc in Lanner has been submitted to Kerrier District Council by Redruth-based St Piran Homes.
The company hopes to make a start this summer on a 12-month building project for 14 properties, three of which will be sold as affordable (shared equity).
The site is currently garden land, having previously been used to keep animals, and has gradually been enveloped by other housing developments.
The planning application is for two four bedroom detached houses, nine three bedroom (terrace of three, four semi-detached and two detached) and three two bedroom terraced.
Selling agents have not yet been appointed, but the company anticipates open market sales prices ranging from £170,000 to £295,000.
The as yet unnamed development has been designed by Lilly Lewarne Practice to provide quality living spaces internally and externally, with a safe and welcoming environment complimenting and improving on other areas of Lanner.
