Falmouth Towage Company has sold the motor tug St Piran to an undisclosed buyer.
The largest and most powerful tug in the towage fleet, St Piran came to the port in May 1984 as the Dalegarth. Since then she has played a major role in manoeuvring vessels around the docks. For a majority of her time in the port she was under the command of Captain Maurice Fuller.
