Residents of Breage braved the weather recently to support the local school and its annual Christmas fair.
Families, friends, and other village residents visited Breage School despite strong winds as the children and parents raised £501 with various stalls and games, while the pre-school raised another £118 with their own efforts.
Jenny Brooks, the school secretary, said: "It went really well. It was all well supported and we had lots of people that popped along from the village."
The school thanked everyone who organised the fair, as well as those who attended and supported the event, and also thanked Tesco for supplying finger rolls for the hot dogs.
Jenny added: "The children always really enjoy the different games and stall that are dotted around the school."
