A student from Truro and Penwith College was literally jumping for joy after winning gold in a Pole Vaulting competition.
Molly Caudery, a sport and science student, set a personal best of 4.10m in Pole Vaulting at the Welsh Grand Prix.
The event, held on Sunday, January 15, was well attended and the Redruth-based student was thrilled to win the gold.
Coached by her dad, Molly has been pole vaulting since the age of 10, and sailed over the bar gracefully to achieve her highest ever vault.
Molly said: "My course support me in any way that they can. Being in the elite group at college means they set me specific training programmes which I work on three times a week.
"My tutor supports me within my competitions and makes sure I can take the time off in order to travel.
"Everything I do is sports orientated, and I thought that the sports course would suit me well.
"I'd like to go to America and carry on with sports science.
"There's definitely the dream to take on sports professionally."
Molly will be heading back to Wales on January 28 for the senior Welsh championships, which is the biggest competition in Wales.
