Fire Fighters from Mullion were called to a car ablaze near Cury in the early hours of Thursday morning.
One fire engine from Mullion was sent to Bochym, in the Cury Cross Lanes area, at around 12.30am, along with Devon and Cornwall Police.
A fire service spokesperson said: "On arrival the car was found to be well alight and was off the road."
The fire was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using two high pressure hosereels and a dry powder extinguisher, while Devon and Cornwall Police were on scene to manage any traffic.
Fire crews remained at the site for a short time, damping down.
