THE head of Richard Lander School is to retire at the end of the academic year after taking the school into a new era when it moved to Threemilestone just over a year ago.
Trevor Coldman will leave the school at the end of July 2008 with his job being advertised in the Times newspaper this week.
Mr Coldman has proved a popular and successful head who has seen the school go from strength to strength during his time in charge.
This year the school achieved celebrated a 99 per cent pass rate for GCSEs for grades A* to G grades and around 60 per cent at grades A* to C. The school moved from Highertown into the new £24 million pound purpose built school at Threemilestone in September 2006.
